After being spotted online in many leaked images and reports the LG Optimus L9 II Android smartphone is finally officially announced. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG has announced its latest device in Netherlands but didn’t reveal any information about the pricing of the phone. It is the upgraded version of the LG Optimus L9 phone which was launched in the first generation of L Series devices from the company.
Features wise, LG Optimus L9 II comes with a 4.7inch True HD touch screen display with the resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is powered by a dual core 1.4GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 graphics processor. It is running the Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean operating system version and comes with 8GB internal storage further expendable via microSD card. Camera features of the phone include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and it also comes with a 1.3MP front facing shooter. It is powered by a 2150mAh battery and it comes with infrared transmitter which allows you to use it as remote control for supporting devices. The first generation of L Series smartphones sold out pretty well and then company launched the second generation of the same series with upgraded features in February this year at the Mobile World Congress. Now according to the reports the latest addition in this series the LG Optimus L9 II will be available in the market shelves in October 2013 with mid-level price tag.
