The Korean smartphone manufacturer, LG is reported to be working on a budget friendly dual SIM smartphone dubbed as LG G Pro Lite Dual. It is expected to be the cheaper version of the LG Optimus G Pro phablet which was officially launched back in February this year.
A Russian website Hi-tech.mail.ru has leaked an image & expected features of the phone and it also claims that the phone will be first released in Russia around mid-October.
The dual SIM LG G Pro Lite Dual is reported to be having the same 5.5inch IPS touch screen display similar to its single SIM sibling. However, its screen will only offer qHD 540*960 pixels resolution and half pixel density comparing to the single SIM version. It will be powered by a 1GHz dual core processor along with only 1GB of RAM memory. Leaked pictures suggest it will be also having support for stylus pen.
It is expected to arrive with only 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot instead of 16GB/32GB. It is reported to be running on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system version, but it will offer LG’s customized software tweaks like KnockOn and Guest mode etc. It might come with an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor.
The Russian website also claims that it will be priced around 12,990 Russian Rubles which converts around Rs. 25,000 in Indian currency, which is half about half of the rate of LG Optimus G Pro smartphone in the country.
If the leaked report is true than it will be competing against the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos
and Sony Xperia C
in the global market.
