LG has officially confirmed that company is working on a FireFox OS based smartphone, LG Smartwatch and LG G Pad Android tablet. LG’s Bulgarian Mobile Communication head, Dimitar Valev has spilled some beans about the upcoming LG devices in an Interview with a Bulgarian publication Dnevnik.bg. Valev also confirms that company is working on new phablets with even bigger displays and it might launch a smartwatch in the first quarter of 2014.
He added, LG is refreshing its tablet line up and an Android based tablet is indeed launching soon. This statement is backed-up by several leaked reports on the web regarding the LG G Pad Android tablet. Recently the tablet was spotted in Bluetooth SIG certification filing. It is expected to arrive with an 8.3inch touch screen full HD display and will be powered by a quad core processor.
He also revealed that company might unveil a smartwatch next year to compete against the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch which is expected to unveil next month before the IFA Trade Show in Berlin kicks off. LG Smartwatch will first launch in the United States and might feature a flexible display. In addition, LG Exec also noted that company is working with Mozilla to launch a FireFox OS based smartphone next year. So, it looks like the Korean Electronics manufacturer is going to launch a lot of interesting devices in upcoming months to impress the buyers and to compete against the upcoming devices from the rival brands.
