It’s just been a week when Amazon India opened up its e-tailing store for books and gaming but now its all set to give its Indian customers its world famous tablet series Kindle Fire HD. Amazon especially introduced two new Kindle Fire HD Tablets for the Indian markets, namely Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and Kindle Fire HD 7. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 sports a 8.9 inch full HD IPS display with 1.5GHz dual core processor. Whereas, Kindle Fire HD 7 sports a 7 inch HD LCD display with 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Both are having 1GB RAM and run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Both the devices flaunt 1.3MP front camera but no rear camera. Along with this they pack in built storage of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage augmented by free cloud storage. The 7 inch tablet is available at a retail price of Rs 15,999 and Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is available at Rs 21,999. On connectivity front both the devices are fully packed with 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB etc. For the day long backup, they are powered with 4400mAH battery to give good standby and battery backup. Right now Samsung, Apple and Micromax are the leading Tablet selling brands but with Kindle Fire HD series Amazon will definitely give a tough competition to these Flagship owners. The series has been a huge success all around the globe and supposedly will be a hit here in India too.
