Josh Mobiles has launched its cheapest Android smartphone till the date in the country dubbed as Josh Fortune Square for only Rs. 2,999. It is also the cheapest Android device in the country at the moment for the budget friendly buyers. Company has packed the phone with very entry level but satisfying features for the first time Android phone buyers.
Features wise, Josh Fortune Square comes with a 3.5inch capacitive touch screen display with the resolution of 480*320 pixels. It is running on quite older Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system version and powered by a single core processor clocked at 1GHz along with 256MB of RAM memory. It comes with only 90MB of internal storage but can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. “Fortune Square has been designed keeping in minds the needs of smartphone lovers who need all in their gadget. Fortune Square promises to suit the requirement of every entertainment lover.” Deepak Gupta, Director, Josh Mobiles commented on the launch. Josh has also packed the phone with a 2MP rear camera capable of video recording with normal quality. The phone comes with dual SIM connectivity with 2.5G network support over the primary SIM and also offers Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It comes with a 1450mAh battery which company claims to provide 4 hours of usage. Josh Mobiles is surely going to present stiff competition to the rival brands by offering basic Android features in such a low level price tag. Earlier company also launched Josh Fortune HD for the high end buyers priced at Rs. 11,999.
