iBall has released a new smartphone in the country dubbed as iBall Andi 4.5z with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. Priced at Rs. 7,499, latest smartphone in the Andi series is available to buy at the online store Shopclues.com. It will be competing against the recently launched Zen Ultrafone 502 which also comes with similar features.
Going by the specs, iBall Andi 4.5z features a 4.5inch qHD capacitive IPS touch display with resolution of 960*540 pixels and 245ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual core processor along with 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor. It comes with 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and it also offers front facing VGA shooter for video chatting.
The phone comes with 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It comes with regular connectivity features like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB. Just like every other smartphone from homegrown brands, it also comes with Dual SIM GSM + GSM network support with dual standby features. It is powered by a decent 1700mAh battery.
MRP of the phone is Rs. 8,299 and it comes in black and white color models. Recently, iBall also launched a high-end handset in the same series dubbed as iBall Andi 4a
with a small projector for Rs. 17,999. In related news, XOLO is also launching a new budget device dubbed as XOLO A500L
in the market pretty soon.
