Two high-end Android-based smartphones are expected to hit the Indian mobile stores next month – Huawei’s Honor and Lava’s XOLO X900. Both are upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as soon as Google releases it. This is a good news for Indian users who have put on hold their next mobile purchase waiting for the Android 4.0 ICS to get released. The prices of both the handsets have not been disclosed but the two are expected to be priced at around Rs 20,000 in India. Huawei Honor Smartphone Chinese cell phone maker Huawei is to release Honor smartphone in India by April first week. The phone runs on Android 2.3, which will be upgraded to version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich immediately after Google releases it soon in very near future. Launched in September last year, Huawei claims to have customised Honor according to the Indian consumers needs. The phone was show-cased this year at the Mobile World Congress.
