Huawei is reportedly working on a new smartphone for its Mate series. Some photos of the phone are leaked online providing clues on its features. Dubbed as Huawei Ascend Mate 2, this smartphone is expected to feature the same 6.1 inch display that was present in its predecessor, Huawei Ascend Mate 1.
Rumored specs of the phone suggest that it will be carrying a massive display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The FullHD display will be optimized for better media viewing experience. Other rumored specs of the phone suggest that it will be powered by a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor along with 2 GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive with 16 GB of internal storage along with microSD card support to expand the memory further.
The processor on the phone is rumored to be the HiSilicon Kirin 910. It will also arrive with Mali 560 Graphics Processor for smooth gaming experience. Additionally, it is also expected to arrive with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version along with Huawei’s Emotion user interface.
No other details on the phone are available at the moment but as you already know the Huawei Ascend Mate 1 was launched with an 8 MP camera along with LED flash and full HD video recording support, the latest device from the company is also expected to carry quite similar camera features.
