HTC has announced a new color for its latest flagship device following the footsteps of Apple. The company officially launched the HTC One Gold Edition smartphone which is not actually made of 24 carat gold. It’s just the gold color edition, just like Apple launched its latest iPhone 5S in gold color as well.
“Building on the all metal design of the HTC One, and the recent success of the HTC 18 carat gold MOBO phone, we are excited to have developed our own gold device, offering yet more choice to consumers”,
Philip Blair, President of HTC EMEA commented on the launch.
HTC One original edition was launched earlier this year with a 4.7 inch super LCD 3 touch screen display with 468 pixels per inch density. Media viewing experience on the phone is amazing because of its 1080p resolution display and its non reflective screen gives you better visibility under the sun light. The phone was originally launched running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and the company has also equipped it with latest HTC Sense 5.0 custom user interface.
HTC One Gold Edition is also expected to be priced similar to the Silver and Black color editions of the phone. The phone is expected to launch soon in China and then the company will release it globally. We will keep you updated regarding its arrival in India, so stay tuned!
