HTC will be launching its new smartphone called the HTC Butterfly in the coming few weeks. HTC Butterfly has dimensions of 143 x 70.5 x 9.08 mm and it weighs 140 gram. It is available in Black, White and Red colours.
HTC Butterfly sports a 5.0 inch, 1920 x 1080p display running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. Its display is among one of the initial devices with a complete HD screen and it comes with the protection of the strong corning gorilla glass 2. Its high resolution will provide a good quality display and an enhanced viewing experience.
The support of Jelly bean will ensure that its multimedia features provide optimum performance. The operating system is upgradable to Android 4.2 version. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. The processor will offer a strong backup for multitasking features and will ensure strong support for project works for professionals and students.
The smartphone has 8.0MP primary camera with LED flash and autofocus for shutterbugs as well as a 2.0 MP front camera for video calling. The device has 16GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.
On the connectivity front it supports 3G, WiFi and GPRS connectivity. The device has NFC feature as well. It is powered by a battery of 2020 mah.
HTC Butterfly is expected to be available at a price of Rs 49,900 however Android OS has reported that it will be available at a price of Rs 44,000.
