Just a few days back, we heard from a Chinese source that the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC is working on a new smartphone dubbed as HTC Butterfly 2 which will be the latest addition to its Butterfly smartphone series. And now, the phone has been surfaced online in alleged front panel photos.
These images are also leaked by a Chinese website CTech, which claims the listed below photos are the front panels of the upcoming HTC Butterfly smartphone.
According to the reports, HTC is going to launch the next generation Butterfly smartphone in the January 2014 after the holiday season ends in 2013. However, company is still awaited to launch its biggest smartphone till the date HTC One Max
officially in the market which is reported to be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor instead of Snapdragon 800 because shortage of 800 SoC chipset supply.
The latest leaked images of the HTC Butterfly 2 suggest that it will be launched in three color variants – Black, White and Blue. The front panel images of the phone suggest it will be having two capacitive buttons on the front side to navigate into Home and to go back. These photos also indicate that the HTC logo branding will be on the top of the screen.
It is expected to arrive with a full HD 5.2inch display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and it is also reported that the phone will be IPX7 certified which will make it a water resistant smartphone.
