HTC Arrive, which has been recently launched in Europe as the HTC 7 Pro smartphone, will be available from Sprint on 20 March 2011. The HTC Arrive smartphone is the first device from Sprint based on Windows Phone 7. With full QWERTY keyboard and tilt-up dispay, the device provides well-known Microsoft services, like Microsoft Mobile Office, Zune and Xbox LIVE. Windows Phone 7 features Hubs for quick and easy access to the user’s most valuable content, including People, Pictures, Games, Music & Video, Office and Marketplace. Additionally, the Start screen and Live Tiles allowing quick viewing of everything from pending messages and upcoming appointments to game notifications. With 3.6-inch 800×480 WVGA capacitive touchscreen with multitouch, HTC Arrive comes with 5 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and digital zoom and 720p HD camcorder; SRS WOW HD surround sound; media player with 3.5 mm stereo headset jack; Stereo Bluetooth 2.1 (+ EDR); and voice and text prompts in both English and Spanish. It boasts an internal memory of 16GB. Powered by Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, HTC Arrive also supports Wi-Fi and full HTML Web browser with Bing Search and Maps for turn-by-turn directions, address mapping and even street level views via voice search or typing. The phone also features corporate e-mail (Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync), personal (POP and IMAP) e-mail and text messaging. Sprint will offer HTC Arrive for $199.99 on a two-year contract after $100 mail-in rebate.
