The Android fever is enduring. UK based Fly Mobile known as budget phone maker in India is about to introduce four Android based mobile phones. Fly Mobiles still likes to continue with this segment and launch these models in low price segment. The Android based phones will be priced between Rs.7000 to 10000 and will be launched in Q3 of 2011. Mr.Premkumar, CEO of Fly Mobile, said “In third quarter of the current financial year we will be launching four Android phones in the price range of Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000. The handsets will work on Android 2.2 version and depending on the model they will have three to five mega pixel cameras” . “Fly Mobile is strengthening its app ecosystem and is in the process of launching its app store, which will be India centric. Consumers will be able to experience our store by the third quarter this year.” he further added. Budget handset makers like Micromax, Videocon Mobiles and a few more have already introduced Android based mobile phones. These models are still running in market successfully at a competitive prices. Now, Fly Mobile joining this Android bandwagon will create a stiff competition between these market players. Everyone tends to concentrate on this product line will have a bottleneck situation. So, let us anticipate some more rivals to enter this segment and offer innovative products at rock bottom prices.
