Fitbit introduces the Flex 2 and Charge 2 fitness trackers

“Fitbit has unveiled the upgraded models of the Flex and Charge HR fitness trackers”

As expected earlier, Fitbit has added two more products to its portfolio. Dubbed the Fitbit Flex 2 and Charge 2, the brand’s new fitness trackers come as a replacement to the Flex and Charge HR respectively. The Fitbit Flex 2 is the company’s first waterproof tracker, which offers 50-metre water resistance, allowing you to wear it while swimming.

The Fitbit Flex 2 is slimmer and more fashionable than its predecessor. It can be worn on silicone bands, bangles, and long pendant necklaces. Fitbit has partnered with Tory Burch and Vera Wang for the Flex 2’s accessories. The device doesn’t offer a display. Instead, it is equipped with four colour-coded LED lights to notify you of different smartphone notifications and more. It comes with the Fitbit Smart Track feature, which allows it to automatically recognise when you’ve started certain sports activities. It offers a battery life of about five days.
