The super-popular mobile game Candy Crush Saga is finally available for Windows Phone devices. The puzzler is compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8 or higher with at least 512MB of RAM. The game is free to download and play but includes in-app purchases.
Candy Crush Saga features 100+ levels in the Candy Kingdom, and more levels are added every two weeks. It is a variation of match-three type games such as Bejeweled. Each level in the game is filled with differently-coloured candies along with some obstacles. The game is played by swiping candies in different directions to create sets of three or more matching ones. Matched candies crush and disappear from the grid, making ways for others to slide and fill up the available space and changing the grid options. You can also earn boosters like the lollipop hammer, shuffle candy, and more. Each level in the game has a specific goal like destroying a certain set of tiles.
It is the second big mobile game to hit the Windows Phone store this week. Just a few days ago, Microsoft released Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Windows Phone.
