We have seen companies like Vivo and Huawei racing to launch the thinnest Android smartphones, that too with a budget price tag. Blu is a comparatively new company with a handful of average Android products in the market. Its previous flagship, Blu Life Play, managed to grab some eyeball but that’s where it stopped. We never spotted company posting some impressive sales figures.
The company is now back with another and probably better offering. Blue Life Pro measures just 6.9mm and claims to be the thinnest 5 inch Android smartphone with HD display. However, while claiming, the company probably forgot the Vivo X3 which also comes with 5 inch HD display and is amazingly thin at just 5.57mm.
The device is made of premium Aluminium and sports the OGS technology with scratch resistant touch panel. It has been powered by a 1.5 Ghz Cortex A7 Quad core MediaTek MT6589T processor and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. For memory, it packs a 1GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.
Blue Life Pro packs a 12MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera at front. Both the cameras are capable of recording FullHD 1080p videos and support features like BSI Sensor, Face detection, Geo tagging, image stabilization etc. For connectivity, you have 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro USB etc. Weighing only 158 grams, the device has been fueled by a 2500 mAH Li-ion battery.
