Asus has announced a lot of devices at IFA 2013 and one of them is the Asus Transformer Book Trio, which is actually a tablet, laptop and a desktop packed into a single hybrid device. It can be either used as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean powered tablet after removing from the keyboard dock and can be used as a Windows 8 OS running laptop as well as a desktop PC by attaching an external monitor via mini DisplayPort or MicroHDMI.
At first glance, Asus Transformer Book Trio is an ultraportable laptop device but just remove it from the keyboard dock and voila! It will transform into an 11.6inch tablet. Its base station which is connected to use as a laptop is powered by forth generation Intel Core i5 or i7 Haswell processor. It is supported by 4GB of DDR3 RAM memory and comes with 1TB of storage capacity.
In tablet mode, its processing power is provided by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The display part of the whole device is available in 16/32/64GB memory models. It is also having a 5MP rear camera capable of shooting 1080p quality videos and a 720p front facing shooter is also present in the phone.
Connectivity options of this hybrid device include WiFi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort and a microHDMI port to connect an external monitor.
