Minutes after launching the upgraded Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, Asus unveiled its first phablet, the Asus Fonepad Note. The tablet-cum-smartphone device comes with a stylus is powered by the Intel’s much talked Clover Trail Atom processor.
(Image courtesy: Engadget)The device marks an entry of Asus in to the large screen smartphones market which is need of the time. The device boasts a 6-inch 1080p IPS+ display with a dual core 1.6 GHz processor with 2GB Ram inside. It has an 8MP shooter at the back and a 1.2 MP Video calling camera on the front. Surprisingly, like HTC One, it also features stereo speakers at the front. We wonder what makes Asus chose to include the word “Note” in the naming of the device (Note that Galaxy Note was the first phablet from the Samsung). No hint on price and availability yet.
