In addition to new iPads, the Cupertino tech giant has also introduced new 13-inch and 15-inch Retina display powered Apple MacBook Pro models in its press event in San Francisco today. Company has powered the next gen MacBook Pro laptops with fourth generation Intel Haswell chips along with better graphics as well as faster PCle flash storage options.
Features wise, the Apple MacBook Pro 13
is having a 13.3inch LED backlit display with the resolution of 2560*1600 resolution. It is powered by 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor along with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of storage capacity and 3MB shared L3 cache memory. It offers 9 hours of battery life which is two hours more than its predecessor.
On the other hand, Apple MacBook Pro 15
comes with 15.4inch same LED Backlit display with the resolution of 2880*1800 pixels. It is powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 256GB of storage capacity and 6MB L3 Cache memory. The new MacBook Pro with 15inch retina display offers 8 hours of battery life which is one hour more than its predecessor.
Both of the new MacBook Pros share some features like Intel Iris graphics, Two USB 3 ports, HDMI port, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, OS X Mavericks operating system, SDXC card slot, 720p FaceTime HD camera and dual microphones. The 13inch MacBook Pro is priced at $1,299 and the 15inch version is having the price tag of $1,999. Apple mentioned that the new MacBook Pros will start shipping from today at company’s authorized resellers.
