XOLO has finally released the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system version update for XOLO X1000 smartphone. XOLO was expected to launch this OS version update in June 2013 but it got delayed due to some unknown reasons. The phone was originally launched with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream sandwich operating system version but now with this update users will be able to enjoy newer OS features including Google Now support.
There is no official change log is available in the firmware of the phone after the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 OS update but it is bringing better notification support, improved User Interface and Project butter improvements. Size of this update is around 208MB and to avoid connection problems you should download it using a WiFi network. To remind you, XOLO X1000 comes with a 4.7inch touch screen display and it is powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom processor along with 1GB of internal storage. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and it is powered by a 1900mAh of battery. It was originally launched for Rs. 19,999 in the country, but you can grab it at discounted rates from the online stores.
Company has rolled out this update Over the Air, so you should go to the Settings Menu of your device and check the automatic update option and you will be prompted when the update will be available on your device. There is no information if the company will upgrade the device with the latest Android 4.3 version of the operating system or not.
