Alcatel is secretly working on a 6inch Android phablet dubbed as Alcatel One Touch Scribe Pro and according to the reports first it will be landing in Hong Kong later this month for around $300. The phone is actually spotted on Twitter in a leaked photo which also revealed a lot about the core features of the upcoming Alcatel phablet which is going to compete against the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone.
According to the leaked photo, it is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad Core processor and it will be having Dual SIM connectivity feature. There is no information on the RAM memory of the phone at the moment but the quad core processor present in the phone will be able to handle the heavy applications easily for sure. It is having a massive 6 inch touch screen display which might be having the resolution of 720 pixels. Main camera of the phone features a massive 13.1 mega pixel shooter which is quite decent for a $300 smartphone. Alcatel has powered the phone with a massive 3400mAh battery. It is having Dolby Digital Plus quality sound and also comes with Stylus pen support, just like the Samsung Note Series devices. At the moment, there is no information available if Alcatel is going to launch the phone in the core smartphone markets like US, UK and India apart from the first landing in Hong Kong. Anyways, looking at the features of the phone we think Alcatel is going to offer a decent large screen device for only $300. Source
