Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming laptops launched in India, prices start at Rs 1,79,000

At an event in India today, Acer launched two new gaming laptops dubbed the Predator 15 and Predator 17 in the country. They sport thermal efficient designs thanks to the options of swappable metallic fans and dust blowers. They offer a triple fan design to keep the temperature under bearable limits while gaming.

The new Predator notebooks also sport Predator FrostCore, which allows users to enhance the notebook’s performance as and when required. In addition, they feature the PredatorSense gaming control panel, which lets you customise and control gaming features, including adjusting lighting and macro programmable keys for up to 15 shortcuts.

The Acer Predator 15 offers an up to a 4K Ultra HD 15.6-inch display, and the Predator 17 sports a 17.3-inch full HD screen. They are powered by up to 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processors, aided by up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 GPUs and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. They can be configured with up to 1TB of HDD and 512GB of SSD storage. Both support up to three external displays including one NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor. The notebooks also boast Killer DoubleShot Pro technology, which enables Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections to work together to deliver higher internet speeds.

The Acer Predator 15 and Predator 17 gaming laptops run Windows 10 out-of-the-box, and will be available in the country later this month at the starting price of Rs 1,79,000. Buyers of the new Acer Predator laptops will also get a gaming mouse, headphones and backpacks for free.
