Let’s look at some manufacturers who have strayed from their settled path, and have come up innovative gadgets for an early start in 2013. These set the pace and raise the platform of what more is to be contended in the rest of the year. The Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table Tablet With iPad holding the reigns in the market, you’d expect incoming competition to centre their pieces around it. However Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table Tablet takes a different course altogether. This tablet has dimension and weight. It is a 27 inch tablet that weighs 17lbs–ooF! However in thickness, the tablet is only 1.1-inches thick. So, it doesn’t make for carefree handling. It is kind of made to serve several users at the same time, almost like a dablet (desktop tablet). The tablet is designed for multi-user multi-touch input and can take on up to 10 fingers at a given time. On the inside, the tablet specifies a support for 1080p resolution and works on Intel Core i7(third generation). It has Windows 8 Pro plus proprietary User Interface options, space of 1 terrabyte HDD and about 8GB of DDR3 memory. The battery life is at a bare minimum being able to churn out only two hours. The build of this tablet is conducive for gaming and media since its more of a stationary tablet. Lenovo said it intends to come up with some gaming accessories, for now three gaming tools are on its list. Archos 97 Titanium HD This tablet has some serious attention catching specifications. Agreeably, there will be some concerns resonating about the look of this tablet given that the previous Archos 101 XS tablet looked disastrous and felt like remains from a disaster scene. So despite the fact that it out performed most of its contemporaries, still it had severe impalements. This new Archos tablet is a part of an all new line of tablets, that is said to bear little similarity to the looks of the by-gone Archos. Weighing only 2lbs the Archos 97 Titanium HD tablet works on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a neat 2048 x 1536 HD resolution display which is 9.7 inches. It also features a Dual-Core A9 CPU (1.6GHz) along with the Quad-Core GPU Mali 400 MP4 and 1GB of RAM. It also supports most current video codecs and has WiFi support. Vizio Tegra 4 This is an all powerful chip for mobile computing. Nvidia has a gamut of new inventions which have already got form and are preparing for release. These have chartered Nvidia to a new interesting height. The Tegra 4 is among them. This chip runs the Vizio’s new line of 10-inch and 7-inch Tegra 4 category tablets. The 10-inch model looks fabulous, and works on the Android Jelly Bean, has a 2560 x 1600 resolution across the IPS panel and comes with 32GB of built in memory. There are two cameras, the front facing one has 1.3 megapixels while the back has 5 megapixels. These gadgets bring a lot into the tech world, and are our hopefuls. Perhaps when they come into the market, we’ll see nice accessories to compliment them.
